Q: Who can join the Cumberland Valley Harley Owners Group?
A: Membership is open to anyone who shares our enthusiasm for Harley-Davidson motorcycle riding, and who is a currently active member of the National H.O.G. organization.


Q: When and where are the monthly meetings held for the CV HOG Group?
A: Chapter meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every month, except December. Meetings are held at the Roadhouse Pavilion, located at Appalachian Harley-Davidson, 6695 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Meetings begin at 7:00 PM and generally last approximately an hour and a half. During the riding season, we may have an ice cream ride afterwards.


Q: How do I join CV HOG?
A: You may download an application here or pick one up at Appalachian Harley-Davidson. Your completed application may then be dropped off at the dealership or submitted in person at one of our monthly meetings.


Q: How much does it cost to join CV HOG?
A: Annual dues for the Chapter are only $15.00 per year. Remember, you must also be an active member of the National H.O.G. as well. (Be sure to visit www.hog.com for details on joining the extended H.O.G. family!)


Q: How do I know if CV HOG is right for me?
A: You are invited to join us as our guest for two meetings before deciding whether you would like to enroll as a member.


Q: What are the benefits to becoming a member?
A: Once you become a member, you will receive a monthly Chapter newsletter and enrollment in the Rider Rewards program. Basically, members are eligible to earn reward points throughout the year for their participation in rides, events, meetings, etc. See the Rider Rewards page for additional information on this benefit.


Q: When are the Chapter rides and events?
A: Generally, during peak riding season there are rides planned mmost every weekend and sometimes even overnight trips and longer excursions. The Chapter's monthly newsletter will list all of the current and upcoming events and rides. you can also view the Chapter's online calendar, which will provide up to date information as well. It is pretty safe to say that there is always something going on. We strive to offer a wide variety of rides and events so that there is always something for everyone.

Q: I am not familiar with group riding. Where can I find more information about how to ride with a group?
A: This is an excellent question. Please check out our Event Safety page for information about group riding and other safety related material. You may also find additional help from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's (www.msf-usa.org) website.
